Bio
Drummer Efrain Hernandez was born in 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He began playing the drums at the age of five in Church and banging on some of his mothers pots and pans. At the age of fourteen, he joined the Christian band Hosannas de Borinquen and recorded their 3rd album “De Paso”. Soon after he also joined the band Labranza, a Christian latin band and recorded in their album “Horizons”. When he turned eighteen he was old enough to play in the bar scene and he joined the band Ozono, an Original/Cover band in San Juan P.R. He remained active in the San Juan music scene, performing with bands like Ozono, Altamarea, Alex Manuel, Papa Toro & Estigma until 2005. In 2005 he moved to Cleveland Ohio and began playing with The Bottleneck band a Country/Blues band with the great late guitarist Bill Kennedy.Efrain is currently in the drum chair with Cleveland based band Run Avril Run. Run Avril Run has been packing dance floors since 1999.
